Eq3 has a great brochure right now. Go to the King st. store to pick one up. The website is also very good. Has most of the dimensions of the furniture.

Modern/Contemporary Online Furniture Stores in the GTA *Website Address Included*
Guess I will post and update this thread periodically as I roam thru Toronto searching for the right piece of furniture.
I will not post any mainstream furniture stores (such as Sears, Ikea, Brick, Leons, etc) I would never fill my home with pieces from these stores unless i'm looking for something simple like shelves, or lighting).
Again please stick with the theme of this thread, if you want to discuss Sears, the Bay, Ikea, the Brick, Leon's, etc please make another thread

If you have money to spend, Elte has a decent selection of modern furniture.

However if you can find the right piece...then it's all good. However I don't recommend for condo homeowners.
The leather dept in the lower floor has a large of large items._______________

We were shopping last boxing day time for a conetmporary bedroom set, Decorium had the one we wanted the cheapest (by a fair bit). And Canadian made! From Shermag, in Quebec. I made Decorium actually confirm that it was made in Canada, not off-shore, as I'd heard a lot of quality issues with the foreign made stuff.
While we love the set, and it's very good quality hardwood, I do wish we'd looked around more for a second hand set. Sites like Craigslist have modern stuff all the time for sale that is selling for well less than half price from new, and after all, it's furniture, if its well taken care of, it doesn't wear out! We've since bought loads of stuff this way, and had huge savings by doing so. The only thing is that you can end up waiting awhile and spending lots of time watching online for what you want to come up. Small price to pay, to me.

For rugs and stuff, look at anywhere from 1000-50000.
Furniture is still pretty expensive.
Nice store though._______________
