Monetizing Facebook Apps
I have an idea for an app for facebook that I think would become pretty popular. Before putting too much work into it and looking at the facebook API, I was wondering if anyone knows how facebook apps can be monetized.

Yeah... I'd prefer to keep it ethical. That article is really interesting though. So I guess there's not really a standard way in which most developers do it.

With access to a lot of the demographic information, I think you could create a service that serves up targeted advertising or provide market research information. This is one way of monetizing an app.
