"Moneymoneymoneymoney" - a terrible trader you'd like to stay away from!!
Moneymoneymoneymoney opened an account on May 14, 2009.
He started a thread selling a 160gb ipod on the same day.
http://www.redflagdeals.com/forums/s...d.php?t=738523
So here's the story, I first contacted this guy about his ipod on May21.
I offered him $160 and his selling price was $180, he replied my PM and said $170. I agreed to the price and we had a deal.
I then gave him my contact number, asked for his and suggested place to meet up. It took 1 day for him to reply and he said the location is fine and he said he will be available to meet the next day. I replied him right away, confirming the time and asking for his number again in case we don't see each other there.
On the day he suggested, NO REPLY and DIDN'T show up ofcourse! He also avoided to give his contact phone number for no reason!
And then the next day, he PM'ed me and said he would call and meet me on Monday(2days later). Yet, he DIDN'T call nor message me.
Yesterday, I asked him what's going on and guess what? He said it's been sold for $180 already. What a joke!
----------------------------------------------
He made me waited for a week, broke his promises and lack of communication. I totally felt fooled and ofcourse I was not happy about this experience, so I left a negative feedback on his BST page with the detail story.
He then made up some lame excuse and leave a negative feedback on my page for retaliation, without further explanation nor a valid reason why I should receive a negative feedback as a buyer when he didn't keep his end of the deal as a seller.
I contacted the mod for help and the negative feedback he left on my page was removed.
This has been a terrible experience and this guy is definitely one of the worst seller I've ever met on this forum! Someone like him should be BANNED for ruining our safe and respectful trading community where trust is built!
I've kept all the PM history, if anyone wants see them as prove feel free to let me know._______________

This is not just about meeting up late or replying PM slowly, this is everything together plus his bad attitude and how immature this guy acted like, after screwing people over.
Update on May 28: After his invalid negative feedback on my page was deleted by the mod, he posted another one today without any explanation ofcourse, since he couldn't even think of one lol.
Mod deleted this negative feedback again. This guy is just embarrassing himself!
Another mod nsx suggested me to post my story here when i present my case to him.
I just think that people should be warned, at least people have the right to know what kind of a terrible seller this guy is.
If you would still like to do business with him, it's your choice.
This forum is for scammers and warnings isn't it?

I agree. Last year I suffered a string of bad trades & scams. One seller phoned all day, kept changing our meeting time...then never showed. Another kept my deposit and every scammers ignored my PMs until I contacted mods for permission to post negative/neutral feedback.
Scammers obviously retaliated with negs but mods deleted them and encouraged me to warn RFDers. 2 sellers received permanent bans after repeat scams and using multiple IDs, 2 others were temp banned and don't use their old accounts for selling. They may have new accounts but I don't know how to prove it.

I think if an agreement is made on the price, then it should be upheld.
Otherwise, RFD should allow a bidding type post then.
Cuz that's what happened to the OP.
He got outbid by someone for $10 more.

i am with OP on this one, if the seller can be more honest and at least tell OP he is getting a better offer, nothing would have been happen at all.

no transaction = no harm ? what happen to the time i spend to deal with the seller and drive myself to meet up with him ?

You sounded desperate to get the items. I would have moved on after 3 changed by the seller/buyer. My time is too valuable then 10$ difference, especially for something i didn't really wanted that bad.

Every dollar counts. $10 x 10 trades is a bill.
And yeah, I know how you feel OP. Too many times I've set up dates and confirmed deals, only to have the seller blank out of me a few days before... completely... without even a reply. These people should at least have the decency to contact you and tell you the deal is off, rather than keep you on hold just in case the better offer doesn't work out. =\
