Does this come with anything else? It doesn't look like it's compatible with a lot of tvs!

They say upto a certain size but most 40s out today have a wider bracket. As long as you stud it correctly, you'll be fine. I know, I used to have a 42 Plasma wallmounted in my bedroom and that sucker was heavy! LOL
Still a great deal if you want to mount a 32" - 37" in the bedroom, etc_______________

NM, answered my own question.

I guess there's nothing wrong with what you say, but don't sell me 'there can't be better ways.' Tell the captain 'this boat's not safe, we're drowning', turns out he's the one making waves.

Wall mounts used to be insanely expensive, didn't they? That's when buying from Monoprice made the most sense. However, lately they seem to be a fair bit cheaper at some places and go on sale more often? Monoprice is still probably a decent deal ... but not as good as it used to be especially after you factor in all the shipping costs, conversion fees, etc.

With the mounts, you get charged a lot in shipping and chances are pretty good that you'll get hit with brokerage fees. Once you factor all that in, the deals at onlybestrated.com seem to be around the same or slightly better. For example, compare this http://www.onlybestrated.com/adjusta...ack-p-213.html to the monoprice one in this thread.
