Hopefully these add ons return I really like Zen & Salts.
I'm contemplating a real debrid account, but they are UK based, it might not make sense if there are no add ons left.

Don't worry they will be back, think they already confirmed it. Check reddit. Just taking a break from the heat they have been getting. I don't see anything glkke this get shut down for good. Another option will just pop up. Theres even a Reborn Genesys now. Lol

If you just want Movies and TV install Terrarium. Its the easiest App that gives them all.

Enjoy it while you can. They just added a blatant "Netflix" content category, inviting a lawsuit from Netflix which is sure to come promptly.

Personally don't stream from these Apps or Kodi or Netflix. Not when I have practically every TV Show and/or Movie on Hard Drive. Hate streaming.

Since my new 4k hdr tvs, I haven't used much of any Kodi add-ons. I've been download everything with at least good quality, not-so-compressed 1080p. If they are not out in, I will wait. I think it is worth the wait.

A good 2 hours 1080p movies would be anywhere from 4GB - 15GB, while most 1080p on kodi streams are 700mb - 2gb. I am sure some quality is lost along the way of compression. Most obvious evident is the pixelated blacks.

I'm guessing you use either torrents or usenet? I use to use usenet for everything until it started getting wrecked with DMCA takedowns.

I am still on Torrents. But I don't use any torrent downloaders. Best to sign up with alldebrid or real-debrid ($20-25 bucks/6 months), and just let them do the torrenting while you receive the direct links.

You also get premium services to quite a lot of servers. Been using them for over 5 years. And alldebrid > real-debrid just in case anyone's wondering.

How's alldebrid better?

Less downtime for me. I used to have both, stopped using real-debrid after some downtimes while alldebrid has almost always been up for me.

I just heard but its a slimmed down version of Zen. Still better than nothing. Salts is still buggy I hear, but other scarapers are launching.

I'm not 100% familiar with the tech behind Kodi, but why does it matter if TVAddons shut down? Is it because it's what hosted all the repositories?

Tvaddons hosted a bunch of addons, so some are down right now, but others are going strong... Elysium which was called Zen is good and Specto has been working well too..
