Fido. I've successfully unlocked my 4s with ******** but a bit reluctant with my 6.

I just had my Rogers iPhone 5S & 6 unlocked for $11 cdn each.

http://protechparts.ca/collections/factory-unlocks

Here is his ebay ad for what you need to provide and restrictions. It's a little more expensive through e-bay.

http://www.ebay.ca/itm/UNLOCK-IPHONE-4- ... 1582106288

I went through his website instead and in the special instructions I listed the carrier, the model of the iPhone and the IMEI. Also, I was able to pay through paypal.

I ordered unlocking for my iPhone 5 Sunday afternoon and it was completed by Monday 9:30am, I ordered for my IPhone 6 Monday afternoon and received confirmation Tuesday 1:00am. I did a restore on both and received the message from Apple that my iPhone was now unlocked.

Got an email this morning saying its unlocked, i just tested with a Telus sim and it WORKED.

Wonder can these unlocks be undone somehow if the unlocker is using some shady methods?

I have done a bunch and I have never had one relock. I usually hook it up to iTunes to get the message regardless if I sell the phone but it is not necessary.

Just the other carrier sim active or not active will do the trick.

I usually do a backup and full reset, then I get the message from Apple saying its unlocked. Once it's unlocked by Apple, it's unlocked forever.

Best option for iPhone 5 on Bell Mobility?
One listed recently seem for Rogers / Telus.
Is there something special about Bell?
