usually the difference is just the questions at the back of each chapter are numbered differently and the rest is about the same. You can try emailing ur prof and see if it is still usable.

Most people think you must have the newest edition. But really, if its by the same author, and its the same book, the information is still going to be the same. Save yourself some $$ and get an older edition.
