motion sickness, nausea ?

Does anyone have motion sickness driving tall SUV ?

I tend to get motion sickness driving long distance on SUV. I have to take gravol to mitigate the problem.

Gotta watch out, that medication causes drowsiness and potential impairment.

I have to take it on boats and trains (but not planes!) on which I'm a passenger.

If I take just 1 pill, it doesn't make me drowsy. I never had this problem when I had a honda accord sedan.

You shouldn't be driving after taking regular gravol. And your the first person I've heard get motion sick when they are driving. Usually when driving you don't have a problem because you are always looking at the horizon.

You may think gravol isn't making your drowsy but it could be affecting your ability to react in an emergency. Use the ginger gravol next time. Or let someone else drive.

I have prescription called: Betahistin Dihydrochlori from family doctor. it is totally useless when I go mountain biking. I still feel massively dizzy hence causing me to vomit like crazy.
I went to another walkin clinic for medical advice and need referal to specialist for MRI scan.

Doctor won't refer me to get MRI scan. I am getting really frustrated here.
Does anyone know a doctor in east york who can refer me to MRI scan?

Presume you mean "Betahistine Dihydrochloride" which is diagnosed for "Vertigo, tinnitus and hearing loss associated with Ménière's syndrome". Having suffered from vertigo in the past, I know how unpleasant it can be. I'd suggest you ask your doctor for a referral to an ENT specialist.

Do you wear glasses? A few years ago, I got a new pair of glasses and literally got sick every time I wore them. The optometrist/optician never admitted a problem but when I got them back after an "adjustment", the problem was gone.

I have to check with my optometrist tomorrow morning. What's a ENT specialist?
