motorbikes :How to get more green lights.
Here's a cheap and easy way to change the lights, so you're not always stuck at a red light on a motorbike or scooter.

I really doubt a small magnet would disrupt the electromagnetic field enough to change the light. The signals don't change because a car is more magnetic than a bike, it's because they can cover up more area over the ground loop than a Bike and disrupt the entire loop.
Some municipalities now use diamond shaped loops instead of square ones to help motorcycles at lights. They seem to work more effectively.
And that video uses a pretimed light, the loop was clearly not in actuated mode.

Hmmm, it may work but who knows.
In the day though most lights run in timed mode so it's not exactly a big issue.
