movers - bonded vs. insured
can someone explain to me the difference between the two? bonded vs. insured.
explanation i heard was that bonded would be required for moving a business where ensuring that records are secured. so if i am just moving personally i don't really care if they are bonded is this correct?
thanks

I believe being a business or not has nothing got to do with it, it's just business may use bonded servies more than everyday Joes.
Bonded means they are insured for doing the job correctly and on time etc. If you feel the job was not done to your satisfaction, you can make a claim.
Insured can mean insurance on tangible goods. But you can also get insurance on time etc so insrance can become like a bond.
Hope this helped a bit.
