Mrs. Fields cookies $2.49 SDM
Not as good as last time since the boxes don't have the $1.50 coupons anymore, but still a pretty good sale price at $2.49 (usually $4.99).

yeah.. mrs fields are the ones in individual wrappers right.. talk about stingy!
i grabbed some of thouse souped-up pepperidge farm packs one time though, they were the same price as mrs. fields, but come with TWO rows of cookies..Last edited by duckdown; Apr 10th, 2005 at 05:33 PM.

i'd go with the pepperidge farm anyday. i found the mrs. fields to be soggy and tasteless...nothing like the fresh mrs. fields cookies.

The best way to enjoy Mrs. Fields cookies is to warm them up for a few minutes in a regular or toaster oven (not microwave) just until the chocolate chips are slightly melted...mmm...

Hmm, $2.50 is pretty good... I've actually seen them as low as $1.99 at select SDMs from time to time, but it isn't often. Chainwide $2.50 is a good deal. I don't really like the milk chocolate ones because there is alcohol in the chocolate chips and you can taste it, and it doesn't taste good either, lol. Don't get me wrong I love booze, haha, but it just does something weird to the taste of the cookies if you ask me.
The white chocolate/macadaemia (sp?) ones are good but they are not that good for you; not that the other ones are 'good' for you but the white chocolate ones are higher in fat I think

You are supposed to microwave the mrs. fields cookies.
And check the expiry dates (long story)

Ok... just microwaved my 2nd cookie for 15 seconds at HIGH POWER
The chocolate bits just started to melt. But not to the extend where its totally stuck to the plate or tissue holding it.
My verdict is ............ 15 seconds of microwaving beats out the off-the-shelf-eating.
Next.... would be to put it in a toaster oven for 1 minute after its preheated to 350 Celcius.
