My Ongoing Experience with L. Hansen's Forwarding

Hey all,

I recently moved from Ottawa to Vancouver. I needed to ship my car, and received suggestions from this site about L. Hansen's forwarding, so I went with them. Process seemed to go smoothly, they even brought my car over a week early! However, much to my surprise, my OEM spoiler was missing! God only knows how this happened, there's no other damage in the surrounding area, so I actually suspect someone stole it :( . Moreover, even though this was supposed to be enclosed rail transport, the car was filthy: mud, dead bugs, etc.

I'm in the process of filing a claim with them. I hope they do cover a spoiler replacement without much hassle. I'll update this post as time goes on.

Nevertheless, my opinion about vehicle transport is: don't do it! Drive the car yourself, otherwise you're basically paying someone $1500+ to vandalize your baby.

Cheers!
