My Patroit SSD HDTune 2.55
I am happy with this SSD drive. I installed it as an OS for my PC.
I ran HDTune test and here is the result:

Pretty good. Better than my Seagate 7200.12

It's in my desktop PC. I did a little mod to fit it on 3.5" tray.

Raid 0 onboard? or some other controller? If you do, try out and let me know how it goes.
I'm looking at gigabyte I-Ram, support 4GB max.

That thing runs on SATA 1.5 Gb/s. Nothing
about it.

Is that a drive with one of those jmicron controllers? I think I'm going to wait for the OCZ Apex and/or Vertex series drives to come out before I even consider getting one.

You could also consider the g.skill titan, it also has dual jmicron jm602b's with jmicron RAID controller built-in.
Yes, the patriot's use the jmicron controller.

Are SSD worth the price yet? I mean I read some pretty bad reviews about those OCZ SSD when they first came out, im wondering whether its worth it to buy a SSD from patriot (i.e. are they reliable?)

No I didn't but I also can't find any
