my rant to GE customer service
bought a GE profile refrigerator early this year,in the middle of Oct,I found a handler dropped, so I called Sears(bought there),a technician came and said they need order one from GE,today,I got a call from Sears and said handler will be ready in Dec,so they will come to fix it in Jan,11! I cannot believe I need wait for 3 months to fix my refrigerator. Used to admire GE and Jack Welch,now feel so frustrated!

I can sort of understand what you feel. Yes GE electronics are quite pain to deal with. I had my refrigerator problem earlier this year and it's out of warranty. So I have to google up how to fix it since it was a sensor problem. I end up going to somewhere in Kennedy/Ellesmere to pick up some GE parts. I suppose finding your part would be your last resort, or you can always get yourself a new refrigerator, since calling some random fridge repair dude will likely cost you money for inspection anyway and waiting time.
