My TP-LINK router has a problem

Months ago i paid for Home Broadband. In my room i couldn't receive any signal so i connected it to my home telephone. In that case i'd like to surf the internet or playing games in my room so i need an extra Router for building wifi network system. I purchased this one TP-LINK Router.
At the very first 2 months it worked really perfectly. But last month the speed is unstable and even dead after hours' using. Being troubled by this kind of stuff, and unfortunately i got the invoice lost. But TP-LINK saler told me that i could change a new one with warranty. Now it's summer, i can't make sure if it's related to high tempreture, either if the data settng was wrong.
Any answers and suggestions will be appreciated!

Reboot it, see if it helps.
If it helps, then you have a crappy router that gets bogged down over time.

Flash the firmware and hope it's a corrupt firmware causing the issues

I had a TP Link slow down to a crawl when on Wifi for some odd reason and the web GUI would slow down (on cable) so I thought it was a CPU issue.

I adjusted the WIFI encryption to force WPA2 amd AES (from WPA or WPA2 and Auto). Forced channel to 1, and it worked so far...

No complaints for a few weeks now

Flash it with OpenWRT or DD-WRT if it is on the list. I have two TP-LINK routers (WDR-4300) linked together over wifi.

This one was rebooted the other day as I swapped out the UPS for a better one... but this was up for 45-60 days
