This was my experience too...the fries were mediocre and the burger was decent but I've had a lot better at our local Fuddruckers. I think Shake Shack was a bit better if I recall correctly.
Oh how I miss Fuddruckers. They had one in Victoria for awhile back in the 80s/90s. I LOVED them.

they make a fine burger but it hardly lives up to the hype although I do love those yellow chile peppers.

lousy fries

Dont believe the hype. Its very good but its still just a burger

Lots places in TO do just as well IMO. Burgers Priest, Holy Chuck etc
I have the same opinion. Any place that freshly grinds their meat daily is just as good.

It was good in the sense everything was fresh. I saw them punching potatoes to cut fries and fry them immediately. The secret menu is also crazy good with the different combos. and a double cheeseburger was just 3.50 US? If i remember right. Before I came home, i stuffed 3 of these in my backpack to eat on the plane :)
Probably explains why their fries are so bad. You're not supposed to cut them right into the fryer.

$4 and a $350 flight. They all mentioned the closest equivalent that's available here. And where do you get $15 from? Holy Chucks double cheese burger is $9.49 where you get 2x4oz patties compared to 2x2oz patties with In N Out..

lmao who is flying to the west coast just for fast food burgers? So you're telling me a burger that costs 2x more has twice as much meat? Wow that's crazy how math worksElectric Light Bulb

I've had In&Out Burger in Arizona. The burger was good but the cheese covered fries were disgusting. It's similar to Shake Shack but I would say Shake Shack is better, because of the shakes and the fries are better than In&Out Burger.

They really need to bring this to Canada to shake up the market. Too many "gourmet" $20 burgers that can't hold a candle to the real deal USA places.

What is so special about in and out? I honestly think it's hyped only because of the price. Shake shack is way better. Plus Vegas and LA have amazing local shops that destroy in and out.

I think it really is the history of it all.
For myself, dropping in is a tradition when in those parts.

Please don't compare to Shake Shack or anything else that costs 3x as much. In N Out is great and it's cost is roughly similar to McD's in the US...The question then becomes why would anyone eat McD's when In N Out is available?

Can't wait for Vegas in a few months. In-N-Out may be my first stop after checking into the hotel :D
No need to check in to your hotel first...there's one literally a 5 min drive from the airport :D

Personally - I think the Whopper is a better burger which can be had for the ~same price in the U.S. and 2/$7 in Canada any day.
