Ya, not defending it, but consider the tow mirrors too. Not sure if they can pull in flat or not.

If it was me, I would just park way the heck away and walk in as often as possible.

I know quite a few people who have obtained handicapped plates or shared them improperly. I also have witnessed countless people parking with these plates and sprinting to the store...if they're handicapped it is hard to see. Just sayin'.
