Names of Cell phones, Official name VS company name

So. In the world of cell phones we have the same phone... with a GSM name, a CDMA name (are they different between Bell and Telus???), and we have the internal company name.

Are there any people out there that can help sort through the mess and tell us what is what

For example.

The HTC Touch Pro = HTC Raphael. I don't think this has been released in Canada yet.. but when it is..... you can bet it will have a different name for all the providers.

Can we start a thread listing phones and all the names each one goes by? Who is in the know????

thats a LOT of work 0__0"....
considering the amount of cell phones we have...the list is gonna be huge...
better for whoever is looking for the phone to simply use google and add in GSM or CDMA....

yep.. that is a lot of work.. that is why when we find out what the Telus release name of the HTC Raphael/ Pro is going to be... we just add it.... same thing for Bell and Rogers etc....
