[Napa Auto Parts] UltraPro Hand Tools 1/2" Torque Wrench - $29.99

Looks like a quality piece of kit.. saw it in person today and was impressed after picking up some oil (told them to put one aside just in case), they had a lot on shelf. I was told they were $18x.xx on the website it shows $159.xx

Seems like a nice torque wrench, doesn't go very high though

Thanks OP! Just what I was looking for. Hoping to avoid CT's products. Warranty on this is impressive

Thanks OP, I was gonna jump on the Princess Auto wrench but this is much better quality imo and as mentioned above, you can't beat a life time warranty! ;)

None of the good ones do.
Wide range = less accuracy, and at 4% +- this one is very good.
I'm not saying you can't have a wide range, but if I was working on something critical with a wide range (cheap) wrench ...... I'd calibrate it first.

Is it though? It looks 100% identical to my Power Fist 1/2" torque wrench.

Returned the $55 one from CT and bought this one. It comes in a plastic case and not a plastic clamshell. Much better value.

was originally going to buy a digital torque adapter but ended up reserving this one.

Will see how it goes. Not sure how it compares to the PA one

I’ve bought a lot of tools from PA and let’s just say they are far from stellar reviews most of the time I find myself throwing money in the garbage :( at least with Napa there is something to trust. I think the only way to tell the difference is to do a side-by-side and see the differences. For me PA is much further away so the cost in gas does not equate in to a savings. I am starting to lose faith in PowerFist so I try to avoid them as much as possible unless there are no other alternatives.

PA original price was $ 50 and this one had $ 160. If we go with the original prices than certainly this is a better deal. But I think $160 was over inflated price by NAPA. But I still think it's a better deal. Also PA is OOS and people are driving around to find stock.

Can you post a pic of the case? I'm wondering it's an identical rebranded tekton model.
