Everything you've ever seen onscreen or read in sci-fi novels were inspirations from nature. I think all living things however strange and bizarre is what makes this planet so interesting. Like sea creatures living in or around the hydrothermal vents have no pigment and are blind or have no eyes at all; that's a real mind job but it's a beautiful causation (is that right?) of how nature works.
