I was wondering why it was taking them so long. Anyone who have been paying attention should know that this was serious and NBA is ripe for infection.

Gobert and whoever got infected might end up suing the NBA. That was very irresponsible of Silver to not be on top of things. They have medical experts. How could they ignore this?

No fans isnt enough. Players are touching things and putting it on their face. Staff and media could have brought it in.

Most likely mild symptoms... what's serious about it?

NBA players nor any regular athlete are at risk with C19.

Chances are he got the same symptoms as a flu, and went on his day as normal.

Testing positive don't mean anything.

Could be suspended for a month and the play with no fans, but they may just call it a season too. Assuming a bunch of Raptors players, staff and family are infected, now
will be quarantined.

Rudy Gobert who just days ago told everyone they were overreacting and "to prove his point" then touched every microphone in sight
during a post-game media interview.
Rudy Gobert was questionable for the matchup due to “illness,” which came just days after he touched every media member’s microphone and recorder to make a point about the coronavirus.

The Raptors just played the Jazz therefore need to be tested and quarantined too.

The Flu has less than 1% mortality rate, a vaccine, and medications.

Coronavirus-19 is actually much deadlier than the current 4% mortality rate because other countries are providing accurate numbers unlike
China and their coverup. Transmission of the coronavirus is also far easier than the common flu.

https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/

11% of current cases are listed as serious or critical.

LOL, the mortality rate will keep dropping as more people get it and recover.

Comparing the mortality rate now is pointless.

Their body can handle it but their families and whoever they get in contact with might not be able to. Its extremely contagious.

All the Jazz and OKC players should be quarantined unless the test result comes back negative.

Italy is having high mortality but China, south Korea , Singapore, Hong Kong etc all have lower mortality and reliable numbers unlike the US or Europe

This is much much more contagious than the flu. You can have a flu and still live with people without infecting them.

There is a much lower incubation period, antiviral drugs and a lower mortality rate for the flu, and the flu season ends. We don't know for certain whether Covid19 will die off in the spring.
