I used mine all the time from Canada without going through VPN. The only time when I did was if a game was blacked out in Canada...then I would typically vpn to any nordic country and shut down vpn the moment game starts. I remember on Android it was doing geo check as well, so spoofing of gps was necessary as well.

So I just combined the promo code and Indian VPN and signed up for a grand total of CAD$0.00. This should be interesting.
I think the coupon code gives 2 free days, then takes 20% off the 999 indian rupees. So after the 20% you're down to 799.2 rupees. At current exchange rate that is 13.92 CDN + maybe a foreign transaction fee to convert rupees to CDN(??).

I used Tunnel Bear on mac and iOS. It's free to use up to 500 mb (1gb free if you tweet an ad for them). You can log in with them then turn off the VPN once you start watching.

So around $14 CAD? If so it's still a good deal.

How is anybody paying? None of my Canadian CCs will work on the Indian site. Thanks.

I bought Indian version like 3 years ago, as someone said, need VPN for blackout games only. You can use any country without NBA broadcasting scheduled officially (I think there's a list available in nba dot com) ... To make it simple I found UK or Netherlands worked for all the games without an issue. You only need it to start the stream as someone said and then you can turn off VPN and continue at full speed Becuase VPN was not be able to handle the 720p bandwidth most times using PIA to UK or Netherlands.

What platform are you using? Android, PC, ios?
I tried running thru VPN to load then turning off for playback but no luck. Thank you for your comment though.
