Also wouldn't mind any feedback from people who have played the game on how it is. I had to use it as a qualifier for the console power trade promo as my ps3 broke, just want to know if its worth picking up again

Have you played the first one? The sequel is more of a conventional shooter now since there's less emphasis on shooting out lights. You should still take out spotlights, but you don't need to hide since you're a lot more powerful now. The powers are pretty interesting, especially with the dual-wielding and two tentacles. The game is short, but I like the pacing instead of padding it out with filler. Though, it also means this game lacks the original's (slightly) open spaces and being able to chill in front of a TV.

Someone mentioned this earlier on another topic, so I thought I'd point it out: BB and FS only sells the Limited Edition of Darkness 2. In fact, I don't think I've even seen a regular edition for Darkness 2 before, but that's the one that NCIX seems to be selling. If you look carefully at the covers in the links you posted, you'll see what I mean.
Bottom line is: you might not be able to price match this, but if you do you'll get nifty bonuses you wouldn't get otherwise. I think given that they don't carry the regular edition, you have a decent shot if you find the right CSR (who either won't notice, or is nice enough to overlook it)

It's a pretty short game.
Also, I ran into the same problem when trying to PM it with FS (EB Games had it on sale for $19.99). However, the CSR gave them a call and confirmed it was the limited edition. I don't think I've ever seen one that isn't the limited edition.

For 14.99 it's pretty good, if you're a trophy hunter. I platinumed this in 2 days flat. Was entertaining, good if you liked the first one.
