If you're out of cash, it's a hint not to upgrade.
To my knowledge NCIX does not do credit, other than credit CARDS. Doubt you'll find a place that will do credit, as everyone who needs credit just uses credit cards.
Best bet is to try a big box shop like Futureshop for financing. I don't recommend that though.

NCIX do financing?
I'm out of cash but itching for an upgrade.... does NCIX do financing?
Do any other "parts" stores do financing?

Well... I did find a good deal on a Dell 5150 with 820 processor. Apply my company 10% discount and I'm in good shape. My mother in law would get my old computer - she more than deserves it.

All in all, ~$700 for a dual-core machine (for me) and 17" CRT (for her) is pretty darned good. And I can handle the payments.

They have a credit program, but it appears to be only for business accounts. I'd keep your cash (or in this case your cards) tightly in your wallet.
RESIST THE URGE TO UPGRADE!

Hey.... I'm at a good job now - no more unemployment.
But I suppose I can hold out a while longer.... ugh._______________

If your job is so good, you wouldn't be broke.
What does finding a good deal at Dell have to do with "parts" retailers like NCIX?
I'm sure Dell would love to finance you (if you do have such a great job), just call them._______________

Well, aren't you the nasty one, Mr. Moneybags.
Perhaps you missed the fact I just started this job and am only just rebuilding my finances. My mother in law both needs and deserves a new computer (hers is barely a Pentium1) and she's done a lot for us - you could say I owe her.
So, it's either do it for Mothers' Day which is going to be extremely hard on her this year since another one of her children are now dead... or wait until I have cash-in-hand to buy without credit.
I was rather hoping to do something special at the time she needed it and would have appreciated it more.
So I'm terribly sorry that I'm just not as wonderfully rich as you, but I'm not as foolish as you enjoy thinking I am. I have a student loan I'm still paying off, but doing so regularly. I have no other credit, nor do I buy a bunch of computer toys (or other toys.) I live very modestly, without so much as Cable TV or other frivolities.
Oh wait... here it comes - you're gonna' send my wife to work and put my kids in daycare! Yay! Great solution!! Why have well-adjusted kids with good temperments when you can ship 'em off to be someone else's "burden". My wife can waddle around at a job five months pregnant and reclaim the kids who wonder why their parents abandoned them - all for the tiny difference between her take-home pay and the cost of daycare.
Guess it sucks to be me - and not you.
Thanks a lot. You made my day._______________

They do do financing. You'll have to speak to one of their sales reps about it though.
