NCIX mail in rebate question

NCIX mail in rebate question

I bought a 4g RAM in NCIX today. The ram has $45 mail in rebate, and the deadline is tomorrow, Jan 31, 2009. Now i'm confused about different between order date and invoice date. According to one rep from NCIX, there will be 2 dates on the invoice, one is order date, which is today - Jan 30, 2009. The other is invoice date, which will be next monday - Feb 2, 2009. So which date does the manufacture look at? Do i still qualify for mail in rebate?

I would just mail it in. You're really only spending 1 stamp and a bit of time.

It may depend on the company you're getting the MIR from, and you're best off checking the instructions on the MIR form. For example OCZ's rebates clearly state that the deadline date is the "purchase order date", so you would be safe, other manufacturers might have different policies.
