NE: Corsair Builder Series CX430 PSU $26.99 A/R,FS ! Ends tonight (7/17/12)
Hey Guys,
So online looking for power supply deals for my parents computer and came across this one. http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product...82E16817139026 Damn fine deal if I do say so myself...I run a TX750 V2 and love the quality corsair is known for. Wont power a huge rig but great for something smaller like an HTPC
Anyone looking better jump quick! over tonight

Among the entry-level PSes, Anandtech ranked the Enermax NAXN series higher than the Builder Series (Interesting enough, they both are made by CWT) ....

I have this PSU and a 450W NAXN, both are great. The MIR sucks for the Corsair but still a good deal.

I got one of these in March for $19.99 after rebate but $26.99 is pretty good too.
It's quiet and does the job. I'd buy again. Rebate gift card was mailed out in 8 weeks.

I enjoyed a few cx-400 at 19.99 much more than these fake 430w, and that was ~2 years ago

Lol, why is it fake? 30w of fakeness? it puts out 430w on a load tester, and is very good at ripple suppression. Im not quite sure why you added the two years ago comment, as wattage then and wattage now is measured the same, oh you want more now because its newer...i get it lol.

Newbie
Thanks guys, just when I was lamenting how there weren't any good psu prices, all of a sudden there's too many choices to choose from! PM'ed the Antec Gamer 530 Watt, hope that's a great deal. Also waiting for the NCIX sale to see if there's a better deal.

Just RMA it, it happens with all hardware, ME should take it back and give you a new one since you just got it. Make sure you've set the voltage correctly as well
