M4 256GB msata SSD for $209.99 + $9.99 shipping at Newegg.ca.
Note that this is not the 2.5" regular size SSD, this is the tiny size for ultra small laptop, it is very rarely on sales, this is the lowest price I have seen. I think this is a hot price.

Not really hot.
Hookbag has it for $192.42 and free shipping, regular price. It is on backorder though, however if you can wait it's a much better deal.

Good find! Looks like it might be a permanent price drop for this SSD. It has no stock at hookbag, looks like only Newegg.ca has stock currently.

I'll think of buying it when it falls to around $185,it's definitely a regular price.

I dont know much about mSATA. What is needed to mount one of these in a common laptop in addition to the standard hard drive and optical drive?
Is there some kind of y-cable adapter to mount internally, or an expresscard adapter ?

thanks, after a quick google search, I found this list
http://www.mydigitaldiscount.com/msa...lity-list.html
it shows the vostro 3560 I just ordered actually does have a msata slot. So just plug it in and it shows up as c: drive to install the os?
Now what do I do with the standard size m4 ssd I just opened up? DamnLast edited by prod; Jul 31st, 2012 at 07:51 AM.

An mSATA slot is also found on some new motherboards for desktops.

Shows OOS now. Hmmm was thinking this would have been good as an upgrade for my Asus Eee slate since it has the required mSATA slot.

I would bite on a decent price for the 128 mSATA, but it looks like they only carry 32, 64 and 256?¿

I just ordered one from ncix, $213. Takes a few days to come in from supplier though.
Now Im thinking it may be overkill since Ill have the 500gig hd in there too, still couldnt find the 128 for a reasonable price. Guess they do that on purpose.
