Need a cleaning lady...

Shall I say cleaning person to be politically correct.

Anyhow, we need one to clean the house every 1-2 week. What's the going rate per hour nowdays? Do you go through agency and how's your experience?

I have a lady come in every other Friday.
Her rate, and I think it's pretty general, is $20/hr.

I wouldn't trade that for the world.

we have a cleaning lady as well..shes comes once a week on wednesdays...

my mom gives her about 80 bucks for about 4-5 hours of work...our house has 5 bedrooms and a finsihed basement so there is quite alot of work to do..

and also....me and my siblings ( 2 bros and 1 sis) are FRIGGING MESSY...so i feel sorry for her..

sometimes there would be 2-3 ppl here cleaning so that they can get the work done fast..same price..

but overall i am very satisfied.

HOWEVER..she once wiped down my 19inch LCD and man..was i PISSED..luckily no harm done..she also threw away my contact case /w lense inside one time...i was gonna destroy her..lol

wow, we're paying $50 a week for our cleaning lady and I thought that was too much already. Now that everyone has moved out of the house and only one person living there most of the time, she's getting paid for pretty much doing nothing. The only reason why she's still around is because she referred a few clients to my mom. I swear she treats her customers better than her own children.
