my old ear buds broke and my budget is around $150 after tax. I need a new pair of headphones, I prefer headphones this time because they're more comfortable for me to wear for a few hours straight.

I recently bought these Sony MDRNC40 this week for $93.99, but I think I'm going to return them. they're near perfect for me because;

- <$150 (on a budget because I'm moving soon)
- small and portable
- block out sound pretty well for commutes and studying at coffee shops
- decent sound given my budget
- comfortable for hours

I'd keep them but the only problem is the sound LEAKS pretty badly! I like how I can turn the noise-cancelling off for when I'm at my office, but the sound leaks out and people walking down the hall past my office can hear (I don't blast the volume either).

does anyone have any suggestions for something similar given the list I provided above? ear buds won't leak out sound but I hate wearing them for too long. I also would rather the headphones being on the smaller size because I'm moving around a lot. thanks all
