Nice phone, and good price too. This site says that it's tri-band (GSM 900/1800/1900), so it should be compatible with the Rogers/Fido network (since it's unlocked). You should also be able to go with prepaid.

Need Help
Hey everybody
I'm going to buy a cell phone (GSM 900/1800/1900 MHz phone) and can any one tell me whether this phone is compatible with Rogers/Bell/Fido etc. and are these services available in Waterloo, ON too? I want to use the phone for pay as you go service. Does anyone know whether this phone is compatible with the pay as you go service?
The phone is a Panasonic X300 for 100$ and it belongs to one of my friends (it is unlocked). Is it worth it?
Pls give me your feedback,
Thanks in advance

If you're going with GSM, make sure you have 850MHz. It makes a huge difference in reception.
