Thanks everyone for the responses - I've really narrowed it down to the S3 & the HTC 8x (apparently it has better battery life than the Lumia 920). I might also wait a month and just pick up the iPhone 5 when my budget is more substantial.

The 8x is sexy. Its the perfect phone to hold. The LG is a good option too.
