Need Help in Choosing Seneca or Sheridan College for SSW Program please!
Hi there, I have been accepted to Sheridan and Seneca for the Social Service Worker Program. I was wondering if anyone has experience with the program and or college, and can make a suggestion/comment? I have checked the course outlines and etc...but I am still not sure. Please and thanks in advance

Hey! I took SSW program at Sheridan College(Davis Campus) in Brampton....I really liked it...the proffs are all VERY helpful...and also they helped me get into my program at university ...when i graduated..Sheridan college has it a bit different then other colleges...because we do not have placements in first year..while i know from friends in humber and george brown..they are required to do placement in first year..I really like how sheridan prepares you in the first year for placement and gives you help in finding a great placement for your second year..I actually got hired part-time in my placement thats how much they loved me
I cannot speak for seneca..but I go to york uni now..and i know Seneca @ york has a SSW program..its fairly new? ..because when i applied the only option was king campus..which was way to far! But now that i am already at York Uni it would prob be more fun to attend seneca @ york in their ssw...well the decision is up to you..hope i helped.

Thanks Nazey for your help. I live much closer to Sheridan so I am definitely leaning more towards Sheridan. I was wondering what are you taking at York? Because I am also planning to eventually go there too
How was the experience of transferring there? Did your GPA have to be ridiculously higher than 3.0? Thanks so much for your help!
