Need help figuring out where to go/what to do during March Break

Hey all. My gf is a teacher so the only time we can go anywhere is during march break (12-16). We usually go south but it's so much more expensive during that week so we've decided to stay closer and just drive. We just don't know where, Niagara, Montreal, Syracuse, NYC maybe. We'd probably spend 3 nights somewhere. We're looking into Montremblanc too.

We're looking at last minute deals in hopes of a reasonable cost but I'm not too optimistic.

What do you recommend?

If you are looking for Florida DirectAir has flights for $79 one way during March break. You could fly into Lakeland and rerturn from FortMyers/Punta Gorda airport. Total rt is $158 inc taxes.
