Need help identifying bread spread jelly from my childhood

This is a tough one. When I was a kid (around 20 years ago), a family friend who lived in Paris, France used to bring us this chocolate flavored Jelly/Jam whenever he used to visit. It came in a white tin with (dancing?) stick figures on it. I have been trying to find it everywhere for a very long time, but haven't had any luck. I just can't remember its name. It is very possible that the product is discontinued or not even available in North America.

Sorry about the vague details, but that's all I remember. If anyone knows what I'm talking about, please please let me know! It was way better than Nutella.

Thanks

I assume you've googled like crazy already...

Products and packaging can change so much over that time - but I know some of Maxim's products have dancing figures on their packaging.

Thanks for replying. Yup Google didn't turn up anything. Hmm Maxim doesn't ring a bell, but it's a lead. I'll check it out. Thanks

From what i remember, it wasn't a fruit jam. It was chocolate jam/jelly. The consistency was that of jam, unlike Nutella which is basically just chocolate.

A swirl of separate chocolate and separate jam? Sort of like Duo spread? (btw DO NOT Google image "Duo spread" at work lol)

"tartinade au chocolat" got me this sexy stuff out of Quebec that you might quite like:

Alternative: put some chocolate bar or chocolate flakes on bread and toast it in toaster oven.

Or melt chocolate in some milk or water and eat with bread.

Walmart, etc sells Penotti chocolate spread for bread:

Can check this French food store in Toronto or go to expensive supermarkets like Pusateri, Whole Foods and see what's available (chocolate spread, chocolate sauce):
