Need help identifying a movie

I need help identifying a certain movie. I saw it about more than 10 years ago and I really dont know what it is.

IIRC the beginning of the movie set was in a neighborhood and people were talking and it showed people in their homes. All of a sudden a gas line leaks, catches fire and all the houses attached to that gas line explode. so a whole neighborhood goes up in explosion.

I really dont remember anything more than that, I know it's not a lot to go off of but I really want to see this movie again.
