Need help re: replacing laptop screen

Hi guys, my computer screen for my Acer Aspire 5745DG-7025 broke while I'm taking classes in England I really need to either get a new laptop or replace it because I'm writing an exam on a laptop soon. Is it normally worthwhile replacing screens? Can this be done by someone with no experience? How much should I expect to pay? Thanks guys, RFD community is the best.
