Need help on what laptop to buy, any suggestions?

Hey everyone, I'm looking for a laptop for work/school and am having a hard time finding good within my needs and budget. The biggest issue for me buying a laptop in Canada is the lack of US Layout keyboards, I HATE the French/Canadian layouts...I find those extremely annoying to type on.

Here is what I need:

* RAM: 8GB
* BUDGET: $500-800 max
* SCREEN: 15-inch, 1920x1080
* PROCESSOR: Minimum Core i5
* KEYBOARD: US layout, not the French/Canadian one
* GOOD BUILD QUALITY
* MIC: has a built in mic preferrably

The two I've been looking at so far are the Lenovo Z51 (http://shop.lenovo.com/ca/en/laptops/le ... eries/z51/) and G50-80 (http://shop.lenovo.com/ca/en/laptops/le ... es/g50-80/).

Thanks in advance for any suggestions :)

For that specs, I buy a Dell. If Toshiba has 8GB RAM laptops, I buy Toshiba too.

I've used many Toshiba laptops without any problems. Resale value is also good for Toshiba. The keyboard for Toshiba is French/Canadian keyboard but the dual keyboard can be turned off from the config making the keyboard a US keyboard. There is no dual markings on the keyboard itself. Dell is also good, worth checking out.
