Need info on this camcorder
My peer has a camcorder he wants to sell me and has sent me the serial/part number but I cannot find any information on it!
You guys are good at digging up info, so anything you guys know or links, pictures you can forward me would be awesome!
camcorder is: Panasonic PV-L859D-K
I dont know if its vhs, DV, DVD, HD, HI-8 !! nothing, please help!!

he wanted $100 for it....
I need something I can make simple indie films that I can edit on my own PC, this camera is not gonna cut it I dont think
ANY suggestions on what I should be looking for?

Say I did get this camera for $50-$100 is their any resale value on the Panasonic pv-L859D-K ?? does anyone want me to grab it for them ?

If you want to edit on the PC and keep the budget to the minimum, you definitely want a MiniDV. Add a Firewire PCI card (in case you don't have Firewire onboard) and you are good to go. MiniDV is fairly inexpensive nowadays.
