Need interview tips
HI, I will be taking a panel interview for an internal position at a beer store and I was wondering if anyone knew what kind of questions they will ask as I have never had this kind of interview. I am up against two others for the position and both have longer employment history with the store. They have more seniority so they have more knowledge of opening and closing then I do but on the other hand I feel my customer skills are much better. Thanks for any and all advice.

Do you know if its situational or traditional interview style? If you don't, study the typical questions associated with both...

I had one panel interview before, which until the interview was I informed that it was a panel.
It started with one guys asking all general questions about my background, past experience, achievement,..., then continued with others. The other one who asked me only 1 situational question turned out to be the toughest. I ended up quarrelling with him as he tried to make so many opposite assumptions about my response.
My point is, it could be anything. Be prepared! Good luck!

First off, dress professional and act professional. Make a point of being outgoing and personable – the hard facts and experience play a big role in the ultimate hiring decision, but so does ‘fit’ and just overall personality.
Think of the key situations they’d want to know how you’d react in. Think about answers to questions like “how would you handle a customer complaint like x?” or “what would you do if a customer was acting disorderly?”
They’ll probably also ask about serving intoxicated people, serving minors, etc. since ensuring responsible alcohol service is one of their biggest ongoing responsibilities.
