I think as long as you have your SIN number you can get a job. I had a friend at age 15 get a job at Tim Hortons.

you are 14- why do you want to work?
I'm just asking because someone might want to take advantage of you and lure you with a false job. Then you disappear, etc.
Anyways, you can mow people's lawns, rake their leaves in fall, babysit, walk people's dogs, shovel snow in winter, etc. Apply at supermarkets, etc.

Most places hire as young as 14, sometimes even 13. As long as you have your SIN, just start applying at stores/fast food places, etc.
I started working at a computer store in an unpaid position when I was 13 (to learn about computers, etc), and it turned into a paying position when I was 14.

Shovelling snow in the winter has to be one of the most lucrative things to do. My buddy and I charged 20 dollars a driveway in his neighbourhood and came out with 200 each by the end of the day. Quick work with a bud.
