Need a new gaming PC, mid range what am I looking at cost wise?

That's cheap? I just got a GTX 1070 off Craigslist for $270 to go with my old X5675. Around Vancouver, $300-$400 is normal. RX 580 8GBs and GTX 1060 6GBs go for $150-$200 which would also be decent solutions.
I forgot I started this thread.

I bought a New GTX1060 6GB for $269 as it was on sale with a mail in rebate due to the advice in this thread. Every single game I have tried to play since then allows me to run it at High-Ultra High. It Definitely did the trick. Was considering a 1070 but for the exta $175 I said forget it as there's a good chance my kids will get this system in a year or so and I'll just buy a brand new system for myself at that point
