Need recommendations on PSU and Case
Just picked up an Asus A8N-SLI deluxe, 7800GT, x2 3800+. What are some good pics for PSU and a case? i'm not into overclocking but i do want something that will give me trouble free computing. thank you for your help.

I'd say an Antec P180 case for sure. As for PSUs, Antec's Truepower 2 line looks pretty good, but I don't really know power supplies all that well.

Sonata II case with fans mounted in the exaust vents ....
As for the ps .... 450 watt smartsolutions ps might not be enought ... the OCZ modstream 450 onsale @ ncix right nw would be a good one depending on if ur goign to go dual videocard or not .. if not then that would be perfect then._______________Phenom II X6 1090T @ 4 Ghz/2.4 Ghz NB-Cpu | Gigabyte GA-890GPA-UD3H | Mushkin Blackline "Frostbite" DDR3 1600 16 gigs

P180, or even the P150. Very sexy.

I have the Sonata. Wasn't crazy about the swinging door but the reviews were dead on about this being a quiet and reliable case.
Today I'd go for the Antec P150 instead. No door. Quiet. Antec quality. It's one sexy beast.

FYI, I have a friend who had the sonata2 he removed the air duct, and his temps actually dropped by a couple degrees - might be something to check out. Other than that he loves it.

I would recommend against the PSU included with the Antec P150. It is known to have incompatibility issues with the Asus A8N-SLI board. A TruePower II is fine. You would want at least the TruePower II 480 if you're going to contemplate SLI ever.

well i decided to get a 535W enermax (it appears on nvidias certified sli list). it seems to have good reviews and is reasonably priced. i love the seasonic but its just out of my price range.
i cant decide on a case now lol. I definately do not want something designed by a hyper-active 10yr old. I was thinking about the following:
Coolermaster Centurion 5
Coolermaster Cavalier 3
Thermaltake Soprano
They're all priced at around $70-$90. Any other recommendations? Thank you all._______________

i would go with P180 + Phantom500
get a couple of quiet 120mm fans and undervolt them, you'll have a silent beast
