Need some help with JB iphone 3GS please

I decided to jailbreak and unlock my Telus 32GB Iphone 3GS because I wanted to sell it and thought it might be worth more this way. Something went wrong and I tried to restore it but at the end of the restore I got this 015 error. I did some research and figured out how to fix this, and the infinite recovery loop error that I was having. I used redsn0w 0.96rc8 to jailbreak and update my baseband to 0.6.15.00 then through cydia I unlocked the phone with ultrasn0w 1.2. So the phone is now unlocked, on 4.1 firmware, and at baseband 0.6.15.00 The problem I am having is when I put in my Fido sim card for some reason I get no service, then it will say fido and give me a weak signal, and then service will come in and out, and I never get more than 2 bars and no 3G service at all. I am hoping that one of you iphone jailbreak guru's can help me with this problem. I have exhausted all the resources I can find. Thanks friends

I have never done a software unlock.... but I think that is the must common problem.... it is unreliable and sketchy.... you should of just jailbroke it and sold it as is

You need to change the apn setting. Not sure though
