have you run a bandwidth test to see if you are getting numbers that would be typical of a dual channel setup?
Try the later version of CPU-Z. The # channels is greyed out, that doesn't mean that it isn't in dual channel mode. You'll need to test .

Go to your motherboard's manual and check to see what configuration is necessary for dual channel. Different motherboards have different configurations.
Second, it may or may not say dual channel during boot up. Reboot it now and see if it says single channel. If it says that then if you fix it then it should say dual channel. If it currently says nothing at all, I don't think it will ever say dual channel.

yea, check the boot up screen and see if it says and did you try the other slots? you said u installed on the blue slots, try it on the black slots.
For some odd reason, my friends motherboard didn't detect dual channel when it's in blue slots, but it worked on black slots or vice versa, can't remember ><_______________

Run the benchmark -> Read test. Post the results. You should be in the 4000-5000MB/sec range for dual channel. If you're under 3000, you're in single channel mode.
