[Home Outfitters] Nespresso Friends and Family Sale - D290 $249, Bundle Le Cube $279, etc

Another round of the Nespresso Friends and Family sale started this morning. I have been trying to find codes for the last few days but finally found one that works this morning.

http://www.nespressofriendsandfamily.com

Code : ROMA8

Runs today until November 9, 2010

Prices don't seem as good as previous years.. I was really hoping they would put up a Latisma (sp?) machine.. I picked up a D290 from Home Outfitters during a sale there the other week for $249 but for those that missed that deal, here is another chance. I haven't used it yet because I was waiting to see what the deals were like for the friends and family sale.

EDIT : November 10, 2010 - looks like the code is still working even though it is past the original expiry date.

Thanks OP,

I was looking to pick up the Aeroccino Plus and at $ 69.00, I'm in.

Cheers.

Weird, I didn't get the e-mail, even though I've registered my machine and ordered capsules.

Worth noting that I got my D290 for $250 from Home Outfitters, and you can get a 10% off coupon from their e-mail list and 10% for signing up with an HBC card.

I was really hoping for a sale on the Lattissima, because they've got a new model so I figured they would clear the old one out. Oh well, I might still return my D290 and grab one.

Says Aeroccino Plus $69.00 but when I do check out, it says $77.97 plus S&H and tax.
Anybody else get the same problem?

Yes... but the total is somewhere around $84... so I believe the $77.97 includes tax.

Been waiting for a sale on these - knowing how rare that is. Just pulled the trigger on a C100. Thanks OP!

Hi everyone, can any of these make green tea latte? I only asked because I'm more of a tea drinker though my wife does enjoy a decent cup of coffee.

Does anyone of you have the Citiz or can comment on it? I am not sure if I should get the Essenza or the Citiz.

IMO, I would go with the Citiz. I own 2 Le Cubes. The big advantage is the "draw tray". With the Essenza, the tray will only fit espresso size cups. With the Citiz, you can lift the tray and use full size cups, great with any of the Lungo pods or latte type beverages.

Hey worldjerseys, so you recommend a Citiz over the D290 too? Thanks.

I can't find the specs about Le Cube... I think it has been discontinued. Also the one on the F&F website comes with the Aeroccino which I don't really care. Thanks for your input.
