Nespresso Days (Machine + Pod deals)

Deal Link:
Price:
139.99
Expiry:
September 23, 2018
Retailer:
Nespresso
Well, sadly the Nespresso Days promotion does not include any crazy pod purchase deals like buy 300 pods get ABC free, etc. BUT for those looking to make the plunge into the Nespresso world, these are pretty good deals...
Deal prices get applied at checkout
As a very happy Nespresso user, I'm happy to answer any questions!

OriginalLine - makes a better espresso than Vertuoline but does not make large cups of coffee. This has been my preference, I pour a shot of espresso or a lungo, and then 1 or 2 pulls of hot water. Delicious americanos. Pods are also cheaper.

$139
1 Essenza mini (black matte)
Limited Edition coffee machine
50 capsules (our best sellers)

@thecrashton, thanks for sharing the deal! Do you think the milk frother is worth the extra $50/good to have? Or straight up preference?

milk frother is worth it if you use it to make lattes and cappucinos

What AK47 said! If you want to make lattes or cappuccinos its worth it. It's a great little unit. That said, if all you want is steamed/warm milk probably more economical to put a cup of milk in the microwave for 30 seconds. The OriginalLine unit w/ Aerroccino for $189 is a great deal for sure. The 50 pods they give you are pretty decent blends too.

I bought the Lattissima Pro 2 years ago before Christmas for about 50% off from their site, so they do go on sale from time to time. I'm uncertain if I got a price error however...it was on sale and then staked with another promo code.

Tough to say and even Nespresso claims they have no idea what their BF/BD sales will be. In my experience those days will typically see some decent deals but most people I think are looking for the big deals on those days to be the "Buy X pods and get a free aerroccinno" type thing. They run sales pretty often, just a few weeks ago they had the Inissia machine on sale for $99 for back to school sale. If you are holding out for one of the bigger and more expensive machines then obviously wait and see, but the Essenza deal is good considering the Aerroccinno sells for $100 on its own and then the 50 pods on their own would be about $35-40. Costco just ran a Nespresso event and were selling a VertuoLine machine with a credit for pods and the frother for $249 or something like that. The VertuoLine machines, and pod, are pricier than Original.

Do they ever have sales on pods? I'm gonna run out by end of this year and it's time to reload

Loving my Latissima Pro after a year. I've converted from downing that yucky Tims coffee to some excellent cup of Espresso. Less calories, same hit.

Also wanna know who does the recipes here for the drinks?

You mean the recipe’s nespresso comes up with?? I try them out from time to time but i find them to add extra cost for not much impact if you know what i mean... over time i’ve come to make my own preferred drinks.. like:

1. Strong Americano: Any 8 and up intensity and do 2 runs of lungo
2. Strong creamy cup: i do 2-4tsp of coffeemate with any 8 and up..
3. Any other latte/capp variation: use diff kinds of milk plus any 8 and up
4. This is how i got introduced to coffee world: my sister lives in europe and they normally use like evaporated milk with those cubed sugar. So your preference in volumes of the evap milk or cream, sugar, coffee.

I would imagine Black Friday will see some pod deals. I'm also crossing my fingers! No recipes here, I just drink straight espresso or short americanos sometimes with some milk froth. But would love to try some of them.

Two weeks ago I got a VertuoPlus with Aeroccino from Amazon Warehouse for $138 (plus tax), only the box was damaged. And since it was missing the 12 capsules sample box, I called Amazon and they knocked off another $30. I then called Nespresso and they said "oh my! we'll send you a sample box!". :)

I got lucky. Heck I'm more of a tea drinker but I enjoy the occasional latte and espressos are supposed to be good for migraines. :)

Pods never go on sale. But occasionally they have promos where for example you buy 100 pods you get $10 back in account credit or buy 200 pods and get a free set of espresso cups (running right now)

Thanks. Occasionally meaning, what's the frequency? I don't think I've seen such deal this year

How do you get the cups? I dont see the promo anywhere nor does it apply when I add 200 pods to my cart or on checkout

in boutiques only, until Sept 24. Free pixie lungo cups with 200 original line capsule purchase. Got this offer from nespresso club email - could be account specific, not sure.

the promos are account specific. i have 2 accounts by accident and they both get different promos. it seems like they cater the offer to your buying habits so if you usually buy about 100 caps at a time, your normal promos would be for around that

my sister also has an account and orders way more pods than me and she also gets a different offer, usually larger gift with over 200 pods purchased
