Just paid $150 USD for a Nest Hello shipped to my PO box in the states. No tax! EBAY!

PS. Anyone know if there is a difference between NC5100US and the Canadian NC5100EF?
Probably product documentation? US (English only) vs EF (English / French)....

I took the leap and placed the order but am a bit skeptical now. It's showing as out for delivery in Woodbridge, but I live in Toronto. Anything else I get from Canada Post shows East York when it's out for delivery. And I thought i saw somewhere in the tracking that it had been picked up from Best Buy, but I can't seem to find it now.
Guess I'll wait and see what happens, but I feel like I won't be getting this

Hope those who bought from eBay didn't get scammed (despite PayPal protection, etc), but I have to say the seller's profile looks a bit shady to say the least, despite overall positive feedback score. First red flag is based in US but shipping products out of Canada. Second is no substantial feedback as a seller over the last year. Third is shipping from different locations.

There's a scam where someone takes over an eBay account (or uses any other site to sell), and they sell a bunch of products at a very good price, but they don't actually have them in stock. They then order them direct from the manufacturer or other retailers on your behalf (i.e. make an order on Best Buy for you). How do they profit? All these orders are made using stolen credit cards, and they distribute the orders from different places to not raise suspicion. So even if you receive the product, it is in effect stolen goods.

I really hope I'm completely wrong and that there's a plausible explanation for everything I've pointed out about the seller, but this is something that has been going on on eBay for years.

Very plausible and this seller will be shut down very soon.
Let's see how long the listing stays active.

Best buy has the same deal as well. The source PSP price is the way to go if you dont want the mini and don't want to go through the hassle of selling it. Mine arrived from Nest yesterday, So i will throw the mini on kiji in a couple of weeks for $40

The US version supports the 5GHz wifi band while the Canadian one does not. This is due to Canadian regulations on outdoor wifi devices.

5ghz is faster than 2.4ghz in most cases, but has less range.

Can everyone get the PSP from the source or do you really have to own a business?

Wonderful, this means I made the right decision buying in the USA. More bands=faster response times

Had mine installed earlier this week, very simple.
So far it's working great, amazed at the FOV.
Will definitely opt for the 5-day Nest Aware.
Just hope it will hold up in winter...
