How are you planning to finish this with? Change the wood panel completely? How about the holes between the brick and the panel?
The wood side I'll be filling with wood filler, and I happen to need to repaint my casing so I'll be sanding it down and repaint it.

The holes between the brick I might fill it back in with grout or caulking.

Ours works well and already learning faces for recognition. Wish there was a way to adjust speaker volume though, default is too loud so I may not use 2-way voice that much.

Do you have this integrated with any HA setup?
Would be neat if facial recognition can trigger auto unlock of smart door lock as you walk up to the door.

Operating temperature

Nest Hello is designed to work in temperatures from 14° to 104°F (–10° to 40°C)

Most of canada gets colder?
It’s internal temp, aka the temp with the unit runnning. Even in -40c external temp... the internal temp will still be in spec due to how warm it runs normally.

Yes I would love if my Yale lock did that.. neat has so much potential if they just used it

Damn that is a flurry of activity lol. I'm sure you can adjust what you want to go off, but, leaving it like that...? Holy hell lol.
That's what we are paying for!!! LOL

My original ring doorbell died 2 days ago after 2 years. I am looking to buy a Nest Hello as they have a 2 year warranty instead of 1 year for Ring doorbell. However, it seems I missed a good deal. The price is 299$ now.

Is the deal back again? I see 229 or 249 with free Google mini + nest aware for 1 year
