Netbox Rogers 8642 HD Box keeps making humming noises every minute..........

Hello all.
I don't know if anyone else is experiencing this problem, but I just got this HD PVR a month ago, its the newest Netbox one that I have. I can't believe that people are putting up with this sort of noises. I have mine in the bedroom, and it has woken me up alot, and keeps booting up every 2-3 minutes. I have tried to shut the unit down completely by turning the power off, but it still does it.

I have taken this to Rogers and some reps have said I shud return it, and some have said its normal. This cannot possibly be normal. It constantly does this. I also seem to have trouble with the Food NetworkHD and HGTV.....if I have the channel on for awhile, it just starts breaking up. But my main concern is the noises, this has to be annoying to anyone who has it.

Is this a common issue, I have searched but alot of these issues have been reported couple of years ago, and I just can't believe that it hasn't been resolved yet.

Any help wud be appreciated.

This is not normal behaviour ... Take it and exchange it.
