Netfile line 9909 9910 9912

Following are made up numbers

I need to enter the following for Netfile form:

9909 Bank Interest reported at line 121:
9910 Bond interest reported at line 121:
9912 Interest from mortgages reported at line 121:

Line 121 Total: $500
Line 121 consists T5 box 13 "income from Canadian sources": $300 and T3 box 25 "Foreign non-business income": $200

Do I enter $300 on Netfile form line 9909 or $500?

"Line 9909 is automatically filled in by Turbo Tax, and is "Bank interest from Canadian sources reported at line 121". Help file say: "This amount shows interest reported in box 13 of the T5 slip". No problem there. It's basically all interest income on line 121 that isn't foreign income."

Since what is stated on the T3 & T5 is the total, Netfile needs you to break out those three separate components. Enter how much of the $500 is due to bank interest, bond interest and mortgage interest. The $500 must have come from somewhere and it should be detailed somewhere in the year end summary sent to you by your financial institution. (Or how did the financial institutions issuing the T3 & T5 arrive at $200 & $300?)

Yeah so t5 $300 and t3 $200. So i now know line 9909 should be $300. Do i need to enter the $200 on the other lines? Or leave it out since its from a foreign source.

For the foreign income ... how much of that was from a foreign bank, a foreign bonds or a foreign mortgages?

T3 is from trust income and they likely have not told you the breakdown. Did the trust get interest from banks (probably very little)? Did the trust invest in bonds? Did the trust invest in real estate mortgages? Just make a reasonable guess where the trust earned the $200 and add it to lines 9909, 9910 and 9912 as appropriate. You can't be expected to be precise on this part.

(PS. I have not researched this. I'm basing my response on OP's wording in his first post.)

Foreign income is from a canadian bank. I think ignore the boxes 9910 and 9912.
